As a response to RPG gamers, Razer developed the Naga Hex Mouse. Like the name "Hex" suggests, there are six buttons instead of the usual 12. As the company states, these were designed "for MOBA and action-RPG user interfaces." Since RPG games rely on a ton of clicking, the switches on the Naga Hex can withstand up to 10 million clicks and accurately register 250 clicks per minute. The mouse runs on Razer Synapse 2.0 service, a cloud-based software that will store all personal preferences and settings on a server that can be accessed any time. It's a great ergonomic design built for a different type of gamer. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.1/10 - Popularity: 13% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/games) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Rpg-specific Gaming Peripherals:** Developing gaming peripherals designed specifically for RPG games presents an opportunity to cater to a growing niche market. - **Ergonomic Gaming Technology:** Designing ergonomic gaming technology, like the Naga Hex Mouse, could help prevent repetitive stress injuries and improve user experience. - **Customizable Cloud-based Gaming Software:** Developing customizable cloud-based gaming software, like Razer Synapse 2.0, presents an opportunity to provide a personalized experience for gamers while also collecting valuable user data. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Gaming Hardware:** The gaming hardware industry could benefit from developing RPG-specific peripherals, like the Naga Hex Mouse, to tap into a niche market and differentiate from competitors. - **Ergonomic Technology:** Ergonomic technology companies could leverage the demand for comfortable and efficient gaming peripherals, like the Naga Hex Mouse, to expand their market. - **Cloud-based Software:** The cloud-based software industry could benefit from developing customizable gaming software, like Razer Synapse 2.0, to offer a personalized experience for gamers while also collecting valuable user data. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [MMO-Specific Gaming Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aerox-5-wireless.md) - [eSports-Ready Computer Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/agon-agm600.md) - [High-Power Gamer Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corsair-darkstar-wireless.md) - [Keypanel-Equipped Gaming Mice](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scimitar-rgb-elite.md) - [Customizable Wireless Gaming Mice](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/customizable-wireless-gaming-mouse.md) - [Programmable Gamer Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glorious-model-i.md) - [Left-Hand Dynamic Game Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hex-evo.md) - [Ultra-Modular Gaming Mouse](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pathfinder-gaming.md) - [Ergonomic Right-Handed Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alienware-3.md)
