# Valiant Fantasy Illustrations This Mythology Illustration Series is Stunning and Dramatic By Farida Helmy | Published 2014-06-07 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mythology-illustration-series References: [inspirationhut.net](http://inspirationhut.net/inspiration/fall-gods-rasmus-berggreen/) & [rasberg.blogspot](http://rasberg.blogspot.ca) Just looking at this mythology illustration series has my jaw hitting the ground. The amount of detail, imaginative characters and the level of craftsmanship in the lines and colors of this visual feast is just astounding -- it looks like stills from a Hollywood-produced multi-million dollar project not a personal project by a lone artist. Created by talented Copenhagen-based artist Rasmus Berggreen, and co-owner of visual development studio MOOD, the mythology illustration series is inspired by the fascinating Norse mythology. "Fall of Gods is an epic story about the warrior váli and his journey through jotunheim, the land of the Giants, as he sets out to avenge his murdered family," says Berggreen. The 'Fall of Gods' series will take you on a volatile and drama-filled ride that you won't be forgetting anytime soon. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 38% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Fantasy Illustrations:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Leveraging advanced digital tools and technologies to create immersive and realistic fantasy artwork. - **Mythology Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Using traditional art techniques combined with modern storytelling to breathe new life into ancient mythological narratives. - **Visual Development:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Applying visual development skills and techniques from the film industry to create stunning and cinematic illustrations. ### Who This Affects Most - **Fine Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introducing blockchain technology to the fine art industry to improve transparency and provenance of digital artworks. - **Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborating with artists and illustrators to create original and captivating visual content for films, TV shows, and video games. - **Digital Art:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Developing new tools and platforms that enable artists to push the boundaries of digital art and create highly detailed and immersive illustrations. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Mythology-Inspired Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mythologie-candles-olympus-collection.md) - [Digital Archetype Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-rex-van-minnen-1.md) - [Distinctive Dragon-Themed Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/distinctive-dragonthemed-books-dragonborn-features-illustrative-end-pages-a.md) - [Mythology-Themed Lighting Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alchemist-collection.md) - [Fantasy-Saga-Inspired Whisky Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fantasysagainspired-whisky-bottles.md) - [Artistic Jaw-Dropping Lessons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/masters-of-anatomy.md) - [Mythological Beauty Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/goddess-collection.md) - [Delicately Patterned Beauty Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kustaa-saksi1.md) - [Primal-Themed Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-return.md)
