MX House, a family home in Veracruz, Mexico, is distinctly [modern in its design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/silver-house), which sets it apart from many of the surrounding homes in the neighborhood. Despite its modern appearance, though, the home is actually a [cost-effective way](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modus-architect) for its residents to have property of their own, thanks to its efficient use of the space available.

MX House has two outdoor areas. The first is a small courtyard at the front of the house that serves as a parking area. The second is an interior courtyard in the middle of the home that gives its occupants a private space that's still connected to the environment.

On the interior, the home features a relatively staid and simple layout and decor.
