People in offices have to write emails or memos; it's a task that can get rather boring on a regular basis. The 'Email Guitar' is a [musical keyboard device](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gboard-dial) that allows people to type up letters with the use of a guitar. Each guitar stroke translates into certain [computer keyboard stokes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nuio-flow-keyboard) and letters. Neevel used several electronic components attached to the guitar enabling it to translate the feeds received from the guitar to the computer. It would be so much fun typing up an entire office memo at the same time as [playing a guitar](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/voltage-davinci). If this could be incorporated in offices across the world, desk jobs wouldn't seem so boring. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 8% | Activity: 36% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Musical Keyboards:** Opportunity for introducing musical keyboards in workplaces to make typing more engaging and fun. - **Technology-enhanced Instruments:** Potential for developing more technology-enhanced musical instruments that can perform multiple functions. - **Workplace Productivity Tools:** Scope for creating innovative tools that can enhance workplace productivity and make tasks more enjoyable. ### Who This Affects Most - **Musical Instruments:** Opportunity for musical instrument manufacturers to create products that integrate with technology and serve multiple purposes. - **Office Supplies:** Potential for office supply companies to create new products that enhance workplace engagement and boost productivity. - **Software Development:** Scope for developing software that integrates with musical instruments to create a more engaging and productive workplace environment. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Button-Activated Guitar Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rockdreamer-guitarbar.md) - [Hexagonal Music Composition Keyboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/music-composition-keyboard.md) - [Typing Speed-Increasing Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/charachorder-x.md) - [Effect-Emitting Guitar Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/guitar-gadgets.md) - [Electronic String Instruments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/harmoni.md) - [Minimalist MIDI Guitar Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/midi-guitar.md) - [Connected Musical Chord Keyboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chord-machine-akt01.md) - [Inflated Key Cap Keyboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-type-keyboard.md) - [Distraction-Free Digital Keyboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/micro-journal.md)
