This is probably the outrage that designer Genette Dibsdall experienced when she found that many [camping tents were abandoned](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nokken-softshell-tent) recklessly after the UK music festival Boardmasters in 2018. Dibsdall decided to act on her anger and in order to provide solutions for this problem, the [upcycled the musical festival waste](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/upcycled-camping-gear) into a chic luxury item. Called The Maverick, the piece is versatile as it can be used as a [cape, a nap sack](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shelter-wear), or even a tree tent. About The Maverick, Dibsdall claims: "its functional and sculptural approach throws out the rulebook on traditional fashion practices."
