American landscaping firm [Reed Hilderbrand](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lodes-1) designs a stunning extension of a museum sculpture garden that doubles the outdoor space in size. It opens up avenues for exploration and contemplation to visitors. The work is commissioned by the New Orleans Museum of Modern Art ([NOMA](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mushroom-garum)).

Reed Hilderbrand created a 280-feet-long pathway that individuals can walk on to explore the artistic elements of the revamped museum sculpture garden. The architectural landscaping work boasts a submerged walkway, as well as an outdoor theatre. These new additions will surely do wonders in engaging the public. Moreover, it creates a connection between human beings, water, and a reshaped lagoon. Worries of rising levels have been strategically addressed as Reed Hilderbrand installs weir cuts across to counter the potential problem of flooding.
