He does this by focusing on certain elements of his canvases, helping him to use colors that especially pop out, as well as careful shading that complements them. Peeta has a style that's become iconic -- with his murals in Italy decorating entire sides of multi-storey buildings, [underground walkways](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/masterpeace-painting) and much more. In each of his pieces, the artist works to complement the [natural surroundings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kriskadecor-1) of his canvases, allowing them to blend in seamlessly while bringing a unique element simultaneously. For example, one of the murals in Italy covers the side of an apartment building, which has a bright blue sky as its backdrop. Peeta incorporates this into the painting itself, making the building appear as if its carved out into the abstract shapes he creates. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 80% | Activity: 30% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Graffiti](https://www.trendhunter.com/graffiti) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **3D Abstract Murals:** Creating abstract murals that generate a 3D effect through visual elements and shading. - **Natural Surrounding Integration:** Incorporating natural surroundings into art to blend a unique element seamlessly. - **Iconic Mural Styles:** Developing a unique mural style that becomes iconic and easily recognizable. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Design:** Implementing new techniques to create visually stunning and groundbreaking artwork. - **Real Estate and Architecture:** Integrating art into the design of buildings to add value and create unique identities. - **Tourism and Hospitality:** Creating unique landmarks and attractions to draw visitors and enhance tourism experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tiled Restaurant Interior Murals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cozinha-das-flores.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Evolved Vibrant Graffiti Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jan-kalb.md) - [Mural Design Assistants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/art-by-squares.md) - [Sculptural Paper Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragmenti.md) - [Optical Illusion Replica Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/liberty-science-center.md) - [Vintage Graphics-Inspired Tile Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tile-collections.md) - [Oil Painting-Inspired Rugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antonio-santn.md) - [Glowing Movie Campaign Murals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-mural.md)
