The apartment building is clad with mirrored glass windows and rippled, frosted glass louvers that lend it the serene, calming qualities typically associated with water. To be sure, the Muraba Residences are indeed surrounded by water. The artificial archipelago that building sits on is in the Persian Gulf, so the [watery influence](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/10m) isn't entirely inappropriate. Nonetheless, there's a certainly haziness about the apartment complex, no doubt a reference to the mirages that are said to afflict those who wander the desert. The luxury living space contains 26 condos in all, with four of those reserved as penthouses and the remaining offering [panoramic balcony views](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jz-apartment) of the surrounding gulf. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 34% | Activity: 10% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Mirrored Glass:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop new ways to use mirrored glass in architectural design to create unique visual effects and enhance aesthetics. - **Rippled Glass:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore innovative applications of rippled glass in building facades to create a sense of tranquility and mimic the calming qualities of water. - **Luxury Apartments:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate smart home technology and sustainable design features into luxury apartment buildings to meet the evolving needs and expectations of high-end real estate buyers. ### Who This Affects Most - **Architecture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with glass manufacturers to develop new types of glass that can be incorporated in building designs for enhanced visual appeal and functionality. - **Real Estate:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create luxury apartment buildings with unique design elements and environmentally friendly features to attract affluent buyers seeking exclusivity and sustainability. - **Smart Home Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop advanced smart home solutions tailored to the specific needs and preferences of luxury apartment residents, providing seamless integration and enhanced comfort. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Elevated Coastal Living](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/armani-beach-residences-1.md) - [Waterfront Fashion Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/maison-margiela-residences-dubai.md) - [Highway-Side Narrow Skyscrapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/muraba-veil-skyscraper.md) - [Oceanfront Luxe Residential Complexes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/armani-beach-residences.md) - [Waterfront Residential Towers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peninsula-dubai.md) - [Serene Desert Villa Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/al-mahra.md) - [Diamond-Inspired Luxe Skyscrapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-miami.md) - [Mixed-Use Skyscrapers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inaura.md) - [Emirati-Inspired Towers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/symphony-tower.md)
