Situated on the border of two villages, this stunning angular structure is located 80km north of Alicante, Spain. Unifying two villages, this auditorium space is surrounded by a beautifully mountainous landscape giving the building a unique location. Designer Mandago's aim was to bring together separate cities that shared the same territory, landscape, and cultural background. Designed with a number of geometric focal points, this sharply angular structure is reflective of its rocky hillside topography. The Municipal Auditorium of Teulada fuses strong concrete elements and large glass windows to offer stunning interior spaces and vivid seaside, sunset and landscape views. From its multi-tonal facade to its alluring interior, this public pavilion represents Spain's strength as a nation. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 53% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Geometric Architecture:** Designing buildings with nuanced geometric elements to create striking visual effects - **Integration of Landscape:** Bringing the natural environment into the design of structures to create an immersive and unified experience - **Combination of Materials:** Blending different materials in innovative ways to create a visually impactful structure with striking designs ### Who This Affects Most - **Architecture:** There is a need for architects to explore diverse designs and integrate the natural landscape while employing new and innovative materials, leading to visually stunning structures - **Construction:** Builders can take advantage of geometric patterns and combine different materials to produce awe-inspiring structures that integrate seamlessly with the natural environment - **Tourism:** The combination of geometric architecture with the surrounding landscape provides a unique experience for potential tourists, making this trend an opportunity for entrepreneurs in this industry ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Earth-Inspired Concrete Arts Center](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/il-teatro.md) - [Angular Educational Facilities](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oarvemtta.md) - [Spanish Mountain Pass Lookouts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/farrapona-geological.md) - [Tea-Honoring Angular Libraries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/atelier-xi-2.md) - [Sculptural Cultural Hubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aydc-public-art-centre.md) - [Panoramic Terraced Villas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-95.md) - [Concrete Cultural Visitor Centers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villagers-home.md) - [Juxtaposing Angular Libraries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brixen-public-library.md) - [Mass-Timber Lakeside Theaters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/theater-of-the-arts.md)
