# Traveling Tot Luggage Mummy's Baby Gives Parents the Capacity and Comfort to Carry Infants' Things By Amelia Roblin | Published 2012-07-24 | Life-Stages Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mummy-s-baby References: [tuvie](http://www.tuvie.com/mummys-baby-luggage-makes-traveling-with-baby-simple-and-fun/) Would you believe that this one conventional-looking suitcase comes with seating for two and storage for plenty? Called Mummy's Baby, this piece of luggage was designed specifically for making mothers' lives a whole lot easier by enabling them to carry more and by preventing them from lifting anything. A team of people from Zhejiang University and Ningbo University collaborated on this amazing bag that initially resembles your average [wheeled suitcase with a retractable handle](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luggical) for towing your possessions behind you. Where this item differs is in the [soft baby seat](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baby-travel-essential) that's sewn into the top of the valise and in the stable stool that folds out of the back of the luggage. Mummy's Baby therefore triples as a [stroller](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compact-stroller), a seat for breastfeeding and a place to stash all of the many effects that must accompany a young kid in diapers. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.9/10 - Popularity: 79% | Activity: 89% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Alpha, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Babies](https://www.trendhunter.com/babies) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Multi-functional Luggage:** There is an opportunity to innovate on luggage designs to create multi-functional bags that offer convenience to users. - **Baby-carrying Products:** There is a growing demand for products that enable parents to carry their babies comfortably and conveniently. - **Innovative Parenting Accessories:** There is an opportunity to create innovative parenting accessories that make life easier for parents on-the-go. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Luggage Manufacturing:** Luggage manufacturers can explore the market for multi-functional luggage designs that meet the needs of modern travelers. - **Baby Product Manufacturing:** Manufacturers of baby gear can create innovative products that make it easy for parents to carry their babies and all their essentials. - **Parenting Accessories Retail:** Retailers of parenting accessories can offer innovative products that cater to the needs of parents on-the-go. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Stroller-Equipped Suitcase Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/easy-journey-travel-case.md) - [Carry-On Luggage Strollers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/carry-on-luggage-stroller.md) - [Sleek Cradle-Transforming Suitcases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/schwan.md) - [Lounge Chair Suitcases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bagletti-suitcase.md) - [Multi-Functional Baby Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-baby-carrier.md) - [Collapsible Flatpack Crib Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bababing-bedside-travel-crib.md) - [Travel-Optimized Baby Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stokke.md) - [Convenient Baby Harness Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baby-travel-essential.md) - [Rideable Carry-On Suitcases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modobag-20.md)
