Wyrex charges devices wirelessly through Qi, a magnetic-induction technology. The Wyrex pad consists of six hidden parts: four fast-charging coils for phones, one coil for smartwatches and one coil for earphones. The fast-charging 10W coils for phones are faster up to 30% as compared to standard wireless chargers and that makes Wyrex a great time saver. A multi-coil pad provides more space for charging, so users can always be sure a device is connected properly and ready to use. The devices that are compatible with Wyrex include all Qi-enabled smartphones (for Wyrex there is no distinction between iOS or Android phones) Apple Watch series 1, 2 and 3, AirPods with a new case or any market-available Lightning Qi Receivers. Apple announced the new AirPods to be released before the end of 2018 with compatibility for wireless charging. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.6/10 - Popularity: 93% | Activity: 97% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Wireless Charging Technology:** The rise of wireless charging technology presents opportunities for businesses to develop innovative charging solutions that can be used for multiple devices simultaneously. - **Fast Charging Coils:** The development of fast-charging coils for wireless chargers opens up possibilities for businesses to create time-saving charging solutions that offer faster charging speeds than standard wireless chargers. - **Multi-device Charging Pads:** The demand for multi-coil charging pads provides an opportunity for businesses to create products that offer more space for charging multiple devices, ensuring seamless and convenient charging experiences. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Consumer Electronics:** The consumer electronics industry can capitalize on the trend of wireless multi-device chargers by creating innovative charging solutions that cater to the growing demand for wireless charging technology. - **Mobile Phone Accessories:** The mobile phone accessories industry can benefit from the trend of wireless multi-device chargers by designing and producing fast-charging coils and multi-coil pads that offer enhanced charging capabilities for smartphones and other devices. - **Smartwatch and Earphone Manufacturing:** Manufacturers of smartwatches and earphones can seize the opportunity to incorporate wireless charging technology into their products, providing consumers with convenient and efficient charging options. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wireless Device Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wireless-device-charger.md) - [Multi Device Mobile Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magnetic-wireless-charging.md) - [Multipurpose Fast-Charging Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fast-charging-device.md) - [Multi-Device Charging Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/esr-1.md) - [Versatile Three-in-One Wireless Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/threeinone-wireless-charger.md) - [Robust Triple-Device Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qi2-trio-wireless-charging-pad.md) - [Optimized Mobile Device Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sense3-wireless-charging-pad.md) - [Four-in-One Mobile Charger Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/allinone-wireless-charger.md) - [All-in-One Charging Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/syncwire.md)
