A new multi-media exhibition is on display at the [Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/structural-botany) as part of the Edinburgh Art Festival. Having launched on July 2nd, this exhibit will last until September 18th.

The multi-media exhibition is named In the Eddy of the Stream and it explores the importance of the non-human organisms we share the planet with. The event was conceived in collaboration between Turner Prize-nominated art duo Cooking Sections and Palestinian research collective Sakiya who present "a range of work from research-heavy installations to [live performances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/feel-the-sound)" across six galleries.

A great focus of the multi-media exhibition is highlighting how plants and non-sentient animals "have been threatened by the complex histories of land ownership in Scotland and Palestine."
