# Stadium-Style Illuminators The Multilamp Spotlight Brings the Football Pitch into the Family Room By Amelia Roblin | Published 2013-09-26 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multilamp-spotlight References: [emanuelemagini.it](http://www.emanuelemagini.it/multilamp-seletti/) You don't have to be an athletics enthusiast to appreciate the Multilamp spotlight, but having a soft spot for sports makes the piece extra special. Designer Emanuele Mangini describes the heightened atmosphere of the lounge room when there's an exciting football match on TV, and this [floor lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corium-standing-floor-lamp) would be sure to enhance it. Mimicking the appearance of stadium lighting, the product features [six lightbulbs in six lampshades](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alma-light-totem-i) that have been closely arranged to cast a bright beam all together. A [black wireframe structure](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape) ensures that they're angled in the same direction to provide intense radiance precisely where it's required. I can easily picture a Seletti Multilamp spotlight on either side of a couch, illuminating a room full of enthusiastic soccer fans as they cheer for their favorite teams. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.4/10 - Popularity: 63% | Activity: 31% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Stadium Lighting-inspired Lamps:** Design lamps that mimic stadium lighting for household use. - **Multipurpose Lighting Fixtures:** Create lighting fixtures that can serve both functional and aesthetic purposes. - **Sport-inspired Home Decor:** Introduce sports-themed décor items that can enhance the viewing experience of sports fans while also enhancing the overall aesthetics of a space. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Lighting:** Lighting companies can create trendsetting designs of multipurpose stadium-inspired lighting fixtures. - **Furniture:** Furniture companies can incorporate stadium-inspired lighting fixtures into their designs to provide a functional and stylish option for sports enthusiasts. - **Home Décor:** Home décor companies can create sports-inspired decorative pieces that can enhance the viewing experience of sports fans while also serving as a stylish home décor item. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Daylight-Mimicking Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brighter-floor-lamp.md) - [Sculptural Lunar Lighting Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonsetter-floor-lamp.md) - [Street Light-Inspired Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/standing-lamp-marble.md) - [Contemporary Modular Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/point-floor-lamp.md) - [Nature-Inspired Living Space Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonlight-floor-lamp.md) - [Statement Contemporary Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/filigrana-6.md) - [Bold Playful Lighting Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-lebow-table-lamp.md) - [Dual-Purpose Camera-Like Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nostalgian-floor-lamp-clock.md) - [Suspended Halo Light Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lamplox-minimalist-floor-lamp.md)
