By combining the furry feline's place of rest with its entertainment system, it becomes more streamlined and, of course, practical. Dubbed the Cat Eye, this multifunctional pet bed has an oval shape that is the perfect size for its occupant. The exterior of the piece of cat furniture is made out of a natural [sisal scratching surface](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coral-scratcher) so that they won't have to claw human designs. There is even a rod with a feather toy the cat can play with when bored of sleeping and scratching. People can even play a game of hide and seek with this multifunctional pet bed. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 63% | Activity: 37% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Multifunctional Pet Furniture:** Opportunity for designing pet furniture that combines functionality and entertainment to meet the needs of modern pet owners. - **Enhanced Cat Accessories:** Opportunity to create stylish and practical cat accessories that offer both comfort and interactive features. - **Innovative Scratching Surfaces:** Opportunity to develop natural and durable materials for cat scratching surfaces that cater to their instinctual behaviors. ### Who This Affects Most - **Pet Furniture:** Opportunity for pet furniture manufacturers to create versatile designs that integrate entertainment elements for pets. - **Pet Accessories:** Opportunity for pet accessory brands to offer aesthetically pleasing and functional products that enhance the overall well-being of pets. - **Material Manufacturing:** Opportunity for companies specializing in materials to develop eco-friendly and durable surfaces suitable for pet-related products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Three-in-One Pet Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-pet-bed-design.md) - [Pyramidal Feline Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-cat-furniture.md) - [Functional Furniture Cat Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/donarturo-cuba-cat-house.md) - [Playful Muffin-Inspired Cat Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pets-pods.md) - [Origami-Like Pet Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/felt-cat-bed.md) - [Customizable Feline Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meow-modular-cat-furniture.md) - [Overlapping Wooden Cat Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/two-circles-cat-scratcher.md) - [Cat-Friendly Seat Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jingcyuan-tang.md) - [Cat Bed-Equipped Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/igloo-side-table.md)
