Taking on an [unusual shape](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-lamp), it might pass as a table or even as a coat rack at first glance. Of course, these are the other ways that the multifunctional lighting fixture can be used. Branching out in a stylish and simple way, it connects with people visually as well as functionally. Designed by Italian designer Nicola Conti, the multifunctional lighting fixture is made out of wood and steel. A great piece of furniture for front hallways and even the corner of a bedroom, it can hold small devices such as phones and items of clothing that will be picked up and used in the very near future. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 37% | Activity: 15% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Multifunctional Lighting:** Designing multifunctional lighting fixtures for home and office spaces can create opportunities for functional and aesthetically pleasing decor. - **Playful Furniture Design:** Exploring unconventional shapes and designs for furniture pieces adds an element of fun to functional household objects. - **Mixing Materials:** Experimenting with new materials and mixing them to create unique design options adds value to furniture and lighting options. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** Designers in the interior design industry could leverage playful and multifunctional furniture in their designs to create visually appealing and functional spaces. - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Manufacturers in the furniture industry could explore the use of different materials for products that are multifunctional and add convenience to consumers daily living spaces. - **Home Decor and Accessories:** Home decor and accessories companies could leverage the fun and innovative nature of mixing materials to craft unique and playful lighting fixtures and furniture pieces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Nature-Inspired Living Space Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonlight-floor-lamp.md) - [Hanging Lantern-Like Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woodo-table-lamp.md) - [Tripod-Like Garment Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-coat-rack.md) - [Comforting Multifunctional Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buddy-portable-lamp.md) - [Adjustable Playful Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flos.md) - [Versatile Torch-Style Lighting Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cono.md) - [Storage-Friendly Task Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/storage-lamp.md) - [Artistic Tech-Charging Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/combi-table-lamp.md) - [Playful Table Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toto-lamp.md)
