The dynamic duo creates a set of 4 cutting blocks that are irregularly shaped and modern art-inspired. The cutting board sets are available in five color variations including a bright yellow and green blend and a crimson and black design. Crafted from durable polyethylene -- known to be commonly used in commercial kitchens -- these cutting boards are both aesthetically striking and practical. The 4-piece sets include boards that vary in size and are ideal for [meal prep](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compleat-cutting-board-set). The bold kitchen accessories can be used as elegant service trays for [cheese and charcuterie platters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tortugaware) or other small appetizers. Additionally, the boards are easy to clean, adding to their value and longevity. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.6/10 - Popularity: 79% | Activity: 82% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Abstract Cutting Board Sets:** Designing cutting board sets that are irregularly shaped and modern art-inspired. - **Durable Polyethylene:** Using durable polyethylene material for cutting boards that are both aesthetically striking and practical. - **Multi-purpose Cutting Boards:** Creating cutting boards that can also be used as elegant service trays for cheese and charcuterie platters or other small appetizers. ### Where This Applies - **Food and Beverage:** Innovating cutting board designs and materials for the food and beverage industry. - **Home Decor:** Offering cutting boards that are not only functional but also serve as stylish home decor. - **Hospitality:** Providing cutting boards that can be used in hotels and restaurants for food preparation and presentation. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Multifunctional Serving Boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/convertible-serving-board-trio.md) - [Design-Conscious Butcher Blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/caraway-prep-serve-butcher-block.md) - [Minimalist Preparation Cutting Boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mudra-cutting-board.md) - [Practical Kitchen Cookware Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/prep-set.md) - [Intricate Wooden Serving Boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-serving-board.md) - [High-Performance Cutting Boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-steelport-steelcore.md) - [Artsy Serving Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ecoresin-accented-cheese-and-charcuterie-serving-boards.md) - [High-Quality Birch Kitchenware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/caraway-2.md) - [Sustainable Kitchen Gear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/legni-collection.md)
