It's developed an air freshener toilet paper roll to clear up the smell in the bathroom after someone's done their business. The roll operates on four AA batteries inserted into the back. Slide the toilet paper on the top, turn on the switch in the back, and the air freshener does its work. It's small, takes up no space and best of all, it's easily concealed. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 36% | Activity: 10% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Life](https://www.trendhunter.com/life) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Air-freshening Toilet Paper:** MUJI's air-freshening toilet paper offers a disruptive innovation opportunity to improve the bathroom experience by eliminating odor. ### Who This Affects Most - **Retail:** Retailers can capitalize on the demand for innovative bathroom products like air-freshening toilet paper. - **Personal Care:** Manufacturers in the personal care industry can explore air-freshening toilet paper as a new product line to enhance the bathroom experience. - **Home Appliances:** Developers in the home appliance industry can incorporate air freshener technology into everyday items like toilet paper for convenience and improved air quality. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Planter-Like Air Fresheners](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-freshener-with-motion-sensors.md) - [Two-in-One Toilet Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/potty-pods.md) - [Potent Toilet Freshening Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zoflora-limitless-scents-rim-blocks.md) - [Compressed Toilet Paper Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bambox.md) - [Discreet Bathroom Deodorizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loo-drops.md) - [Scented Toilet Drops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dedcool-1.md) - [Toilet Bowl Cleaner Sheets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toilet-bowl-cleaner-sheets.md) - [Odour-Neutralizing Wipes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/andrex-ultimate.md) - [Anti-Odor Hygiene Wipes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ultimate-fresh-hygiene-wipes.md)
