# Serpentine Body Paintings Mr Shiz Body Art Beautifully Depicts Medusa and Mystique By Trenton Millar | Published 2012-08-31 | Naughty Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mr-shiz-body-art References: [mrshiz](http://mrshiz.com/shiz/) This selection of Mr Shiz body art shows off the artist's incredible painting talent. Accentuating the natural beauty of the body, Shiz has turned these women into sexy serpentine ladies. Drawing upon the figures of Medusa and Mystique (from the X-Men franchise), the artist brings these immoral fantasy characters to life. The Medusa photo shoot was difficult for the model because she had to wear a heavy [snake sculpture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/huang-yu-xing) on her head, and it also started raining during the shoot -- sometimes, it hurts to be beautiful. Mr Shiz has a large and diverse portfolio of graffiti and [body art paintings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miley-cyrus-maison-margiela). His subject matter also varies quite a bit. This is a testament to his ability as an artist and his experiences working with past clients. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 59% | Activity: 26% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Naughty](https://www.trendhunter.com/naughty) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Body Art Painting:** Opportunity to create unique and visually stunning body art designs that accentuate the natural beauty of the human body. - **Immortal Fantasy Characters:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to bring mythical and fantasy characters to life through body art, blending fantasy with reality. - **Diverse Artistic Portfolio:** Chance to showcase a wide range of artistic styles and subject matters in body art, catering to the diverse preferences of clients. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art and Design:** Innovative techniques and concepts in body art can be applied to the broader art and design industry, pushing the boundaries of creativity. - **Entertainment and Media:** Opportunity to incorporate stunning body art designs into movies, TV shows, and advertisements, creating visually captivating characters and visuals. - **Fashion and Beauty:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to introduce body art as a new form of self-expression and beauty trend in the fashion and beauty industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Body Artwork-Inspired Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/body-tattoo.md) - [Biology-Inspired Porcelain Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shiyuan-xu.md) - [Glamorous Artful Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-jane.md) - [Vibrant Snake Graphic Rugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snakes-in-the-grass.md) - [Intricate Resin Hand-Painted Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snh003.md) - [Snake-Resembling Sculptural Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chuzhi.md) - [Human Torso-Inspired Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lene-bdker.md) - [Artful Anime-Blending Split Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/split-bust.md) - [Raunchy Anime-Inspired Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/manuela-soto-sosa.md)
