Mozzi Magic debuted the Mozzi Magic Insect Repellent spray with a water base. The primary active ingredient in this spray is peppermint oil. By using peppermint oil, the product can be made without DEET, resulting in a safer and more environmentally-friendly bug spray.

The Mozzi Magic Insect Repellent spray includes a small amount of nootkatone, the ingredient found on grapefruits that was recently approved by the [CDC](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nootkashield) for use in bug sprays and fragrances. However, the spray is not entirely based on nootkatone because Mozzi Magic stated that the [Environmental Protection Agency](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/natural-baby-sunscreen) ([EPA](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/prevasive-botanical-disinfectant)) has not yet approved this ingredient for this specific use.

The product is available in small 4-oz spray bottles for $27 USD online and at various third-party retailers. It is important to note that Mozzi Magic stated that it will increase its percentage of nootkatone as the EPA approves it for this use case.
