The Mozaika Seat is unlike any stool I have ever come across. Like a crushed disco ball or even a giant thimble, it is a [metal stool](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pul-collection) that looks like it was partly purposeful and partly a mistake. Its unique look definitely makes it a piece of furniture that is both eye-catching and complementary to its surroundings.

Designed by Lui Kawasumi, who has lived in Japan, the Czech Republic, Turkey and the USA, the Mozaika Seat is a mixture of different influences. Although inspired by pottery earlier in life, Kawasumi has demonstrated a great talent with metal and therefore incorporated it into his designs. The Mozaika Seat features an experimental [laser-cutting technique](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fold-chair), which gives the surface an interesting texture. The introduction of [freehand hammering](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pebble-stool) gives it even more personality.
