The aptly titled '[Emptied Gestures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folded-echoes)' is a project that explores the creation of art through the natural movements of a human body. In a way the paintings are a direct reflection of the images created in her mind, as the paint is flowing literally from her fingertips. The entire project is documented by photographer Bryan Tarnowski, who is able to capture the amazing moments as the movement art unfolds. Hansen explains, "In this series, I am searching for ways to download my movement directly onto paper, emptying gestures from one form to another and creating something new in the process." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.3/10 - Popularity: 99% | Activity: 83% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Body Movement Art:** Exploring the use of the human body to create visual art presents disruptive innovation potential in the art space. - **Kinetic Painting Techniques:** The use of unconventional painting techniques can lead to disruption and innovation in the traditional art world. - **Visual Art Documentation:** The documentation of the creative process of visual artists can provide disruption and innovation opportunities in the photography space. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art:** There's potential for using technology to facilitate and enhance body movement art which will create disruptive innovation opportunities in the art industry. - **Painting and Coating Manufacturing:** Innovating painting techniques and creating oportunities for artists to use and explore new painting methods can disrupt this traditionnal industry. - **Photography:** The trend of documenting the creative process of visual artists presents photography with innovation opportunities ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dynamic Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/art-in-motion-exhibition.md) - [Fluid Function Art Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/optical-flow.md) - [Physics-Informed Digital Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/motion-sculpture.md) - [Sculpted Rhythm Forms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-kinetic-collection.md) - [Interactive Kinetic Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/interactive-kinetic-sculptures.md) - [Kinetic Art Wristwatches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/type-8-daniel-engelberg.md) - [Vibrantly Colorful Dynamic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kayla-rumpp.md) - [Leftover Househouse Paint Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paint-drop.md) - [Artful Dynamic Kinetic Vessels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kinetic-vases.md)
