# Tubular Borosilicate Tables The Contemporary Lady Hio Stands Are Made From Colored Moulded Glass By M | Published 2016-04-26 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moulded-glass References: [designboom](http://www.designboom.com/design/philippe-starck-glas-italia-lady-hio-tables-04-25-2016/) & [starck](http://www.starck.com/en/) The [Lady Hio](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lady-raval) moulded glass tables designed by S. Schito and Philippe Starck offer a combination of transparent design creatively combined with a [vivid use of color](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/runda-tables) and a tubular structure. The contemporary tables are elegantly standing on a set of four glass tubes that are suctioned to the top, to create a modern and minimalistic stand for consumers to eat at. Transparent furniture adds an element of space to a home, because the decor pieces showcase the background behind them due to the use of clear material in the design. The Lady Hio tables are made using a sheet of solid glass attached to [tubular legs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wire-chair-concept) and anodized aluminum feet. The tables are available in three different hues including grey, orange and yellow.
