This product seems too good to be true. These bath mats are made of moss, and naturally prevent your floors from getting wet by [absorbing and trapping moisture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/natruth-moisture-absorbers) in their pores. These moss mats are made of a latex foam tray which becomes a planter for several types of forest moss to grow. After enjoying a warm shower you can step out onto the soft forest floor mat and feel the earth between your toes. The best part about these moss mats is that they require little to no upkeep. The humid condition of your bathroom and the water dripping from your body is enough to keep these mats green and your bathroom chic. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.5/10 - Popularity: 75% | Activity: 83% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Natural Living Products:** Creating innovative products made from natural materials, like moss mats, that provide unique and sustainable solutions. - **Eco-friendly Home Accessories:** Designing home accessories, such as moisture-absorbing moss mats, that are both functional and environmentally friendly. - **Low-maintenance Interior Design:** Developing interior design concepts that incorporate low-maintenance and self-sustaining elements, like moss mats, for easy upkeep. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** Exploring new opportunities for incorporating natural and eco-friendly materials, such as moss mats, into home decor products. - **Bathroom Accessories:** Innovating bathroom products, like moisture-absorbing moss mats, that promote hygiene and sustainability. - **Gardening and Landscaping:** Integrating elements of living plants, such as moss mats, into gardening and landscaping designs for unique and functional green spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Living Moss Humidifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moss-humidifier-concept.md) - [Moss-Powered Air Purifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moss-air.md) - [Moss Terrarium Air Humidifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mosslab.md) - [Plant-Powered Humidifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moss-humidifier.md) - [Moss-Colored Yoga Mats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/topselling-yoga-mat.md) - [Natural Moss Terrariums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petite-foret-plus.md) - [Washable Pet Carpets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dayspring-mat.md) - [Nature-Inspired Home Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flower-power-moss-wall-art.md) - [Eco-Friendly Dish Drying Mats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ecofriendly-dish-drying-mat.md)
