The result of this collaboration was this fantastic structure, which curves around a series of lakes while intruding on the natural landscape as little as possible. Morphosis Architecture's design also focuses on [extensive green roofs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sunner-museum) that follow the building's contour in order to regulate the building's interior temperature, while also complementing its exterior aesthetic. **Implications** - As companies build their own workspace, a greener approach is being embraced. Cities are often overrun with towering skyscrapers, and so the alternative is to move towards a more natural environment which benefits employees and mother nature. An eco-friendly workspace in a greener space can improve productivity and further build upon the friendly office concept that many have employed today. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.8/10 - Popularity: 55% | Activity: 21% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Eco-friendly Workspaces:** The trend of building eco-friendly workspaces in natural environments is growing, providing an opportunity for businesses to create more sustainable and employee-friendly offices. - **Green Roofs:** The use of extensive green roofs in building designs is becoming popular, offering businesses a disruptive innovation opportunity to regulate interior temperatures and enhance the aesthetic appeal of their structures. - **Natural Landscape Integration:** The integration of buildings with the natural landscape is a trending approach to minimize environmental impact and create unique architectural designs, presenting businesses with an opportunity to stand out and align with sustainable values. ### Who This Affects Most - **Architecture and Design:** Architecture firms can take advantage of the trend towards eco-friendly workspaces and green roofs by offering innovative and sustainable design solutions to meet the growing demand. - **Real Estate:** The real estate industry can leverage the trend of natural landscape integration to develop properties that prioritize environmental preservation and provide healthier office environments for businesses and their employees. - **Environmental Consulting:** The increasing demand for eco-friendly workspaces and sustainable building practices opens up opportunities for environmental consulting firms to advise businesses on implementing green initiatives and achieving their sustainability goals. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Biophilic Workplace Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mangrove-garden.md) - [Greenhouse Office Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/office-for-roundtable.md) - [Nature Integrated Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bochum-office.md) - [Nature-Connecting Office Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/here-now.md) - [Industrial Waterfront Headquarters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nderkleiva.md) - [Clover-Style Conference Center Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zgc-international-innovation-center.md) - [Valley-Inspired Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitaoka-group-office.md) - [Tranquil Plant-Filled Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wyer-co.md) - [Organic Striking Tower Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-leaves.md)
