'Morning Glory' is comprised of [small flower designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pavo) within a [larger organic shape](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/structural-botany). The piece has a sensor that closes the flowers when it's light out, letting in that sunshine, and opens the flowers after the sun sets. Legro wanted Morning Glory to represent a return to humans' natural relationship with the sun. **Implications** - Legro explains that many people fill their homes with unnatural light that disrupts their biological clock. The Morning Glory helps people to remember that the sun is an extremely important part of a healthy life, since it is the world's [natural light source](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-sula). The artistic piece is not only great for bringing awareness to people, but it is also a fashionable decoration that has meaning. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 10% | Activity: 33% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Biological Clock Awareness:** Creating products that help people understand and align with their natural circadian rhythms, promoting better health and well-being. - **Sensor-controlled Design:** Integrating sensors into products to enable automatic adjustments or responses based on environmental conditions. - **Artistic Functional Decor:** Blending artistic design with functional features to create unique and meaningful decorations. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Lighting:** Developing innovative lighting solutions that mimic natural sunlight to support a healthier lifestyle and better sleep patterns. - **Smart Home Technology:** Expanding sensor-controlled designs and automation features for various home applications, enhancing convenience and energy efficiency. - **Home Decor:** Combining artistic expression with functional design to create visually appealing and purposeful decorations for homes and spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Interactive Blooming Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bloomlight-s-lamp.md) - [Window-Emulating Lighting Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/window-chronicles.md) - [Plant-Based Functional Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/good-morning-glory.md) - [Sunlight-Evoking Plant Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/equinox-light.md) - [Sunlight-Mimicking Panelled Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sunne-lamp.md) - [DIY LED Flower Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floled.md) - [Minimal Wake-Aware Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wake-sleep-light.md) - [Solar Panel Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solar-tapestry.md) - [Biophilic Garden Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/digital-organism-lights.md)
