Blair is a Brooklyn-based artist who is blessed with the stunning ability to create art that excels at the fundamentals while retaining a labyrinth-like appeal. She is skilled at [blending shapes, sizes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ripples-collection) and logos to establish a tapestry that is alluring, disorienting and fascinating. The Morgan Blair portfolio features many images imbued with outlandish and [bold colors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colorscape-installation), each exuding a kind of hazy, [psychedelic feel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-psychedelia) that gives the viewer a sense of carefree hedonism, despite the formal structure of the painting. My favorite image in the Morgan Blair portfolio features effervescent bricks on a wall. The painting captures the best parts of the Morgan Blair portfolio in a one shot: basic, bright, and distinct. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 53% | Activity: 10% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Psychedelic Art:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Explore new ways to incorporate psychedelic elements into traditional art forms, creating unique and immersive experiences for viewers. - **Abstract Shapes:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Experiment with unconventional shapes and compositions to push the boundaries of artistic expression and challenge the viewer's perception of reality. - **Colorful Visuals:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Develop innovative techniques to enhance color saturation and create visually captivating artworks that evoke powerful emotions and engage the audience. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Integrate technology and digital mediums in the creation and display of artworks, revolutionizing the way art is experienced and appreciated. - **Interior Design:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Incorporate psychedelic and vibrant elements in interior design, offering individuals a unique and immersive atmosphere that stimulates creativity and positive vibes. - **Fashion:** Disruptive Innovation Opportunity: Collaborate with artists to translate their psychedelic artwork into fashion designs, allowing individuals to express their personal style and embrace bold, colorful aesthetics. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vibrant Design Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neon-primitivism.md) - [Glass Beaded Intricate Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/painting-exhibition.md) - [Whimsically Vibrant Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colorama.md) - [Apocalypse Post Pandemic Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contemporary-urban-art.md) - [Art-Appreciating Hazy IPAs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artistic-hazy-ipas.md) - [Boundary-Pushing Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/briony-douglas-1.md) - [Marble-Patterned Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/psychedelic-interior.md) - [Otherwordly Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/william-monk.md) - [Psychedelic Hand-Painted Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collection-iii.md)
