# Morbid Disco Decor Badass Skull-Shaped Glitter Balls By Cowbag | Published 2009-01-04 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/morbid-disco-decor-glitter-ball-skulls References: [cakeheadlovesevil](http://cakeheadlovesevil.wordpress.com/2009/01/03/skull-disco/) & [sieshoeke](http://www.sieshoeke.com/artists/Christoph-Steinmeyer/images/) These skulls from Christoph Steinmeyer are simply awesome. They are called 'Disco Inferno' and hung as [installation pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kriskadecor-1), as shown in the gallery. Much like a traditional [glitter ball](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-bulb), these mirrored skulls spin and reflect the light all over the room. These make a really strong statement in a large room, especially considering they're relatively small objects. My personal preference is the purple one, but to be honest, they all are pretty darn stunning. **Implications** - Businesses can reach new buyers in a variety of markets by incorporating images associated with a subculture or alternative lifestyle group into their existing products.
