The home measures 620 square feet and is defined by its captivating [sculptural facade](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/priyam-home) with a creative fusion of geometric forms. This allows it to truly stand out as a modern addition to the [ranch-style home](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modal-home) first created in the 60s. The Moongate ADU was designed by Mike Wang, the principal architect at the firm -- it is designed for his mother and her partner: Pei and Dan who are also both former professors. The dwelling is meant to offer a comfortable space as they enjoy their retirement while staying close to the family in the main home.
