Looking just like a [ring box](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/engagement-moment), the Moon Ring is a perfect replica until it's opened to reveal a small figurine of a man bending over, which will promptly release a [fart](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unicorn-toots) to the woman before it. Totally hilarious, currently on [Kickstarter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perfumable-jewelry) and likely to be in a joke shop near you soon, the Moon Ring is the ultimate way to insult that special lady in your life. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.2/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 91% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Humor](https://www.trendhunter.com/humor) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Prank Jewelry:** Developing more prank jewelry items can be a new trend in the novelty industry. - **Humorous Gag Gifts:** Creating more amusing and funny novelty items like the moon ring can be a new trend in the gift industry. - **Interactive Engagement Gifts:** Developing interactive and playful engagement gifts like the moon ring can be a new trend in the wedding industry. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Gift Industry:** The gift industry can invest in creating a line of humorous gifts like the moon ring to attract more customers and increase sales. - **Novelty Industry:** The novelty industry can invest in developing more prank jewelry items to attract more customers and increase market share. - **Wedding Industry:** The wedding industry can explore developing interactive and playful engagement gifts like the moon ring to attract more customers and create unique experiences for them. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Onion Ring Proposals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onion-ring-proposal.md) - [Cocktail Flavor-Inspired Engagement Rings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nontraditional-engagement-ring.md) - [Carrot-Shaped Engagement Rings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/carrot-gold-engagement-ring.md) - [Coffin-Shaped Engagement Rings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coffin-shaped-engagement-rings.md) - [Flatulence-Firing Toy Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buttheads-fart-launcher-3000.md) - [Sparkling Sandwich-Shaped Rings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baguette-ring.md) - [Sandwich-Based Diamond Rings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quarter-pound-cod-sandwich.md) - [Mischievous Scent Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scent-blaster.md) - [Confectionery-Inspired Ring Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brilliant-earth.md)
