Dupont is perhaps best known for its ultra-luxurious writing instruments, leather goods, and smoking accessories, but its new one-of-its-kind rendition of the Montgolfière hot-air balloon ascension may be its most incredible product yet. The replica of the Montgolfière hot-air balloon may just look like an intricate display piece, but the item also features a distinct luxe cigar lighter. Modeled after the Palace of Versailles, the cigar lighter rests just underneath the Montgolfière hot-air balloon. The lighter is crafted from 24-karat-gold and features 110 inset pavé diamonds worth 3.85 carats. The resplendent lighter isn't the only luxe thing included in this piece, as the hot-air balloon features blue porcelain, 24-karat gold, 18-karat gold, and various other ornamentations. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.4/10 - Popularity: 72% | Activity: 23% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Luxury](https://www.trendhunter.com/luxury) > [Ultra Luxury](https://www.trendhunter.com/ultraluxury) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Luxury Smoking Accessories:** The incredible craftsmanship and use of precious metals and stones in S.T.
