The clock was designed by '[Intexiv Studio](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vibrant-wifi-router)' in response to the lack of options available in this particular style of chronograph. While there are many different styles and designs of cuckoo clocks, many of them tend to be rather dated-looking The devices designed by Intexiv Studio are much more unique, with a [sleek cylindrical shape](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/postmodern-cone-watch) with the actual time-telling aspect of it placed underneath the cylinder. The bird is blue and hides in a small cut out hole in the sleek monochrome clock. This contemporary interpretation of a classic clock design is perfect for people who enjoy nostalgic items but would prefer them to be redesigned to suit a more modern world. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 75% | Activity: 70% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Contemporary Clock Designs:** Creating modernized versions of classic clock designs is a disruptive innovation opportunity for clock manufacturers. - **Minimalist Clocks:** Designing minimalist clocks without losing essential functions like time-telling can be a disruptive innovation opportunity for clock makers. - **Smart Cuckoo Clocks:** Developing smart, interactive cuckoo clocks that can perform multiple functions can be a disruptive innovation opportunity for smart home device makers. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** Innovating home decor products by merging classic and contemporary designs can be a disruptive innovation opportunity for the home decor industry. - **Clock Manufacturing:** Incorporating modern technology and design into traditional clock manufacturing is a disruptive innovation opportunity for clock makers. - **Smart Home Devices:** Expanding the smart home device market to include more unique and aesthetically pleasing products can be a disruptive innovation opportunity for smart home device makers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Retro Pastel Flip Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-flip-clock.md) - [Barebones Retro-Inspired Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cloudnola-flip-clock.md) - [Tranquil Asymmetrical Wall Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooj-design-masuno-clock.md) - [Intentionally Foggy Clock Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kehai-clock.md) - [Dynamic Shadow Wall Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/textural-wall-clock.md) - [Minimal Sculptural Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trace-line.md) - [Minimal Dynamic Desk Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-desk-clock.md) - [Two-Sided Wall Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corner-clock.md) - [Reimagined Modern Pendulum Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heng-alarm.md)
