The packaging has been validated for automating packing processes and consists of two elements to provide a secure level of support for transportation. The first component consists of a 100% Kraft paper sleep to wrap around the bottles, while the second part is a corrugated clip to secure them together around the necks. The Mondi 'Hug&Hold' paper packaging solution was created in collaboration with packaging specialist Krones to ensure it can be implemented into automate processes. The packaging is presently available for use with 0.5-liter to 1.5-liter PET bottle bundles. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 7.1/10 - Popularity: 99% | Activity: 100% | Freshness: 13% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Sustainable Packaging Solutions:** Businesses can explore innovative and eco-friendly packaging solutions such as 'Hug&Hold' paper packaging to promote sustainability and reduce the use of plastic in production. - **Automated Packaging Processes:** There is an opportunity for businesses to implement and optimize packaging automation systems to ensure the successful integration of sustainable solutions like 'Hug&Hold' paper packaging. - **Recyclable Packaging Alternatives:** As consumers increasingly demand eco-friendly products, there is a growing need for businesses to explore and adopt recyclable alternatives to traditional packaging materials like plastic shrink wrap. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Packaging Industry:** The packaging industry can benefit from developing more eco-friendly and recyclable alternatives like 'Hug&Hold' paper packaging to meet sustainability demands from consumers and businesses. - **Beverage Industry:** The beverage industry can implement eco-friendly packaging solutions such as 'Hug&Hold' paper packaging that provides secure transportation and conforms to automated packaging processes for their product bundles. - **Logistics Industry:** The logistics industry can benefit from exploring sustainable packaging solutions like 'Hug&Hold' paper packaging to offer cost-effective and eco-friendly transportation of goods. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Paper-Made Shrink Wrap Packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/traywrap.md) - [Paper-Made Product Bundles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paper-bundle-packaging.md) - [Fully-Recyclable Sleeve Packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shrink-sleeve-solution.md) - [Plastic-Free Beer Packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heineken-green-grip.md) - [Paper-Made Confectionery Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/saica-group.md) - [Adhesive-Held Water Multi-Packs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vilsa.md) - [Paper-Based Packaging Advancements](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monoflex-fibre-plus.md) - [Pulp-Based Wine Wraps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perrier-jouet-1.md) - [Paper-Made Juice Packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tetra-brik-aseptic.md)
