Fusing Scandinavian and Eastern design ideals, this modern illuminator pays homage to the ancient Japanese art of [Origami](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/origami-series). These Zebra pendant lamps come available in three varying sizes and are crafted to resemble [paper-folded sculptural elements](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tsubomi). The geometric light fixtures boast a white exterior shell that is accented with subtle black piping details. Crafted out of milled and folded aluminium materials, these polygonal pendant lights by Moloform are a subdued and non-literal take on its black-and-white striped Zebra inspiration. The illuminators evoke a warm glow of mood lighting and make for a stunning focal point when displayed within one's home or office. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 64% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Minimalist Design Aesthetic:** Opportunity to create sleek, simple and functional products that appeal to consumers looking for clean and clutter-free design. - **Integration of Design Ideals:** Opportunity to combine elements from different design philosophies to create unique and innovative products. - **Origami-inspired Lighting:** Opportunity to develop lighting solutions that incorporate the art of origami to create visually striking and sculptural designs. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** Opportunity for home decor companies to offer minimalist lighting solutions that complement modern interior design. - **Furniture:** Opportunity for furniture manufacturers to create origami-inspired lighting fixtures that can serve as stylish accent pieces in a room. - **Lighting:** Opportunity for lighting companies to incorporate origami techniques into their designs, creating one-of-a-kind illuminated sculptures. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Paper-Made Origami Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hanging-origami-lamp.md) - [Origami-Inspired Suspended Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sora-pendant-light.md) - [Posh Paper Craft-Inspired Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/japandi-lamp.md) - [Origami-Inspired Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ori-lamp.md) - [Fluid Structural Lighting Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loja.md) - [Stealthy Pendant Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/warp-lamp.md) - [Recycled Paper Pulp Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-lamp1.md) - [Metaphorically Inspired Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bilanciato-pendants.md) - [Stunningly Minimalist Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-lighting-design.md)
