The Molly Desk is simply stunning. If this is what the furniture looked like in the 1950s, I think more designers need to be inspired by that era. I think I'm particularly drawn to the Molly Desk because I haven't really come across anything like it before.

Designed by Toby Howes, the Molly Desk features a [fluid design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fossil-furniture) that is anchored firmly into the ground with [practical cabinet additions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dieffebi). According to the British designer, the Molly Desk "contrasts light and dark, straight lines and curves, intricate construction with simple style and [luxurious materials with sparse design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/highend-furniture)."
