While many modern homes seek to marry indoor and outdoor spaces with large windows, open-concept designs, and foliage, MOLD Architects takes its seamless design to another level by drilling into the slope of a hill to carve out a space. Due to its unique placement, the Ncaved House has a [tiered design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/b2a-architects), with each storey featuring only the ground beneath it. Despite being set into the side of a hill, the residence has no shortage of natural light, with large windows and glass doors opening up the different rooms to the outdoors.
