As the size of technological devices get smaller, so too are size of *eco*-technological devices. The solar energy company Sulfurcell has created ultra-thin, modular solar panels to generate energy.

The modular solar panels from Sulfurcell can be added to any building as they are entirely self-contained (they don't need to be built into the existing structure). Special design details of the modular solar panels include a protective glass exterior, hair-thin semi conductor layer, 82 strips of thin-film solar cells on each module, and rear-ventilation for efficiency and cooling.
