Modular sectionals are great because they allow home owners to change up the look of their living space on a whim. This striking design comes from a company called [Futura](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/idols-of-smoke). The seats in this sectional are essentially really oversized, overstuffed pillows with reclining backs (to maximize lounging efficiency). What really sets this modular sectional aside from other sofas is the artistic designs on the fabric. Some of these designs include flowers, animals and bright colors, with cultural images mixed in. This cozy couch has a real zen feeling behind it, and would be great for fun and stylish home owners. Looking at the designs covering this modular seating solution is like looking at a work of art. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 53% | Activity: 14% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Modular Seating Solutions:** There is an opportunity to create more comfortable and aesthetically pleasing modular seating options. - **Artistic Furniture:** There is a demand for creative and unique furniture designs that combine art with function. - **Reclining Pillows:** There is a market for pillows that can recline for maximum lounging comfort. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture:** Furniture manufacturers should consider incorporating artistic designs and reclining features into their modular seating solutions. - **Home Decor:** Home decor companies should invest in unique and creative furniture pieces like these artsy reclining sectionals. - **Textiles:** Textile companies should explore new and innovative ways to incorporate cultural and artistic designs into their products, like the designs on this modular sectional. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Family-Friendly Modular Couches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rubik-v-cloud-modular-couch.md) - [Modular Multifunctional Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hulala-home-elitenest.md) - [Comfortable Modular Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-sectional.md) - [Contemporary Modular Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-furniture-piece.md) - [Cozy Versatile Sofa Modules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/furniture-fjord.md) - [Modular Eco-Sourced Cozy Couches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-transformer-couch.md) - [Modular Sofa Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hybla.md) - [Rounded Modular Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smooth-sofa.md) - [Voluptuous Texture Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bretz-balaao.md)
