In collaboration with Clever, a company that specializes in solutions for electric car charging, the concept includes charging stations built in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. The stations will be made from wooden 'tree-like' structures, including branches that form a car-covering canopy, topped with [solar panels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solar-electric-pavilion) that contribute to the station's charging power. The motivation behind this project is to be a 'green re-imagined conventional petrol station.' By including real trees, bushes and plants, these stations will create pleasant surroundings for drivers to wait in. These new [modular electric car charging stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aria-2) will be made exclusively from eco-friendly materials, making the technology, architecture and energy all earth-friendly. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.4/10 - Popularity: 69% | Activity: 26% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Modular Electric Car Charging:** The concept of modular electric car charging stations presents a disruptive innovation opportunity for sustainability-focused businesses looking to enhance the infrastructure for electric vehicles. - **Wooden Structures:** The use of wooden 'tree-like' structures for car-charging stations offers a disruptive innovation opportunity for eco-friendly construction and design firms looking to create visually appealing and sustainable infrastructure. - **Integration of Solar Panels:** The integration of solar panels into the car-charging stations presents a disruptive innovation opportunity for renewable energy companies seeking to maximize clean energy generation and utilization. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Architecture:** The architecture industry can explore disruptive innovation opportunities in designing and constructing modular electric car charging stations using eco-friendly and visually appealing materials. - **Renewable Energy:** The renewable energy industry can capitalize on the integration of solar panels in car-charging stations, offering a disruptive innovation opportunity to enhance clean energy generation and storage. - **Electric Vehicle Infrastructure:** The electric vehicle infrastructure industry can seize disruptive innovation opportunities in developing modular car-charging stations that offer a sustainable and visually pleasing charging experience for electric vehicle owners. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sustainable EV Charging Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/change-wind-corporation.md) - [Scalable EV Charging Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/epit-ultra-fast-charging-station.md) - [Wall-Mounted Electric Charging Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cove-system.md) - [Vehicle-Matching Charger Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clair-electric-vehicle-charger.md) - [Mobile Car-Charging Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moving-electric-charging-station.md) - [Tree-Inspired Solar Panel Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solarbotanic-energy-tree.md) - [Building-Specific Charging Cooperatives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/charging-cooperative.md) - [Street Lamp Charging Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lamppost-ev-charger.md) - [Accessible EV Charging Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/accessible-ev-charging-station.md)
