# Modular Bathroom Fittings The Modula Shower System Cleans Up Aesthetic Mess By Amelia Roblin | Published 2013-02-12 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modula-shower-system References: [behance.net](http://www.behance.net/gallery/Modula/6896209) Despite washrooms being primarily spaces for enhancing personal cleanliness, the Modula Shower System makes you think about just how messy yours likely is, by comparison to these examples. This practical tiling collection was designed to bring order to the chaos of disorganized plumbing and disorderly hygiene products. Tommaso Bistacchi's concept revolves around a set of [modular pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loopo-system) that can be installed for a tidy and coherent look of the various built-in and movable features and objects around the shower and bathtub area. There are fourteen different plaques that incorporate things like [soap dishes, shelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shelving-unit-01), curtain rod holders, [faucets and knobs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omnibath). The Modula Shower System allows you to align each of these amenities for a systematic setup, or to get a bit creative with a more abstract arrangement on the wall. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 31% | Activity: 19% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Modular Bathroom Fittings:** Modular bathroom fittings offer a way to enhance personal cleanliness and bathroom organization. - **Tiling Collection Innovation:** Innovative tiling collections offer a practical and aesthetically pleasing solution for disorganized bathrooms. - **Customizable Bathroom Design:** Customizable bathroom design using modular pieces allows for a systematic or abstract arrangement. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Bathroom Fittings Industry:** The modular bathroom fittings industry can benefit from offering customizable and practical solutions for disorganized bathrooms. - **Home Renovation Industry:** Innovative tiling collections and customizable design options offer a disruptive opportunity for the home renovation industry. - **Plumbing Industry:** Offering modular plumbing fixtures to align with other modular bathroom fittings could provide a unique offering in the plumbing industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Prefabricated Modular Bathrooms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/porcelanosa-group.md) - [Modular Bathroom Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/prefabricated-pods.md) - [Modern Modular Shower Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-spot.md) - [Sharp Ultra-Slender Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antoniolupi-tubo.md) - [Water-Saving Shower Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alu.md) - [Hygiene-Focused Shower Head Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/showerclear.md) - [Demure Hand Shower Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bell-jar-shower-head.md) - [Modular RV Bathrooms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/icon-technologies.md) - [Modular Contemporary Shelving Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qurv.md)
