Titled 'The Wandering Mind of Jesus,' it is a unique view of the divine figure. A statue of Jesus is intersected by a Hot Rod-like race track setup that would have children racing their [toy cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/furniture-capsule-1) on instantly. Although many people will find the modern religious art piece disturbing for a number of reasons, what really makes it stand out is the fact that the top part of Jesus' head can be moved along the race track. This brings a whole new interpretation to the work of art. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.1/10 - Popularity: 21% | Activity: 4% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Interactive Religious Art:** There is an opportunity to create interactive and thought-provoking artwork that adds a new dimension to religious imagery. - **Modernizing Iconic Religious Figures:** By reinterpreting religious figures in a unconventional and contemporary style, there is potential to attract a wider audience to religious art. - **Combining Seemingly Disconnected Elements:** By blending contrasting elements creatively in art, there is potential to generate surprising and stimulating works that elicit a variety of responses. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Religious Art:** Religious organizations and art galleries can commission and showcase thought-provoking and original pieces that attract people's attention to religious art. - **Art Education:** Art schools and programs can incorporate the use of interactive and unconventional materials in their curriculum to encourage students to experiment with varying techniques and styles. - **Museum Exhibitions:** Museums and art institutions can host exhibits showcasing works of art that blend seemingly contrasting elements to generate new perspectives and engage visitors in unexpected ways. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Digital Archetype Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-rex-van-minnen-1.md) - [Race Car-Inspired Dynamic Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gerry-judah-1.md) - [Solar Energy Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/michael-jantzen-2.md) - [Striking Wearable Sculpture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wearable-sculpture-1.md) - [Psychedelic Sculptural Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frank-stella-recent-sculpture.md) - [Modern Design-Exploring Art Objects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pratone-chair.md) - [Dynamic Artful Car Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bmw-m-hybrid-v8.md) - [UK-Based Modern Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/relics-in-the-landscape.md) - [Dynamic Car-Themed Structures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/veiled-porsche.md)
