Designed by Solid Studios, each card has been remixed to reflect a contemporary feel. Every suit is playfully remastered but is recognizable enough not to get confused. The ordinary heart icon was remixed as a simple, sleek sketch-like illustration. The diamond has also been replaced by a hashtag, quite a relevant image for today's generation. Each of the cards is also inspired by music, and the center resembles a musical note or time signature. Each of the fonts, which differ for each suit, elegantly incorporates a modern graphic with the classic look of musical notions. The [unique deck of cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artiste-series) also comes in a stylish box for safekeeping. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.8/10 - Popularity: 61% | Activity: 45% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Ultra-modern Playing Cards Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore design collaborations with artists to create unique and contemporary playing cards for a niche market. - **Contemporary Remix of Traditional Playing Card Symbols:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop augmented reality playing cards that dynamically change the visuals of traditional card symbols to enhance gameplay and engage a new generation of players. - **Incorporating Music Elements Into Playing Card Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Partner with music streaming platforms to release limited edition playing cards that feature music-themed artwork, encouraging a cross-promotion between music and gaming industries. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Gaming and Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create a subscription-based service that delivers a new deck of artist-designed playing cards to customers every month, targeting card enthusiasts and collectors. - **Art and Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop a mobile app that allows users to create customized playing cards using a library of digital artist-created designs and share them with friends for online multiplayer card games. - **Music and Publishing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with music publishers to develop interactive e-books that integrate playing cards into the story, combining reading, gaming, and music experiences for a diverse audience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Magician-Designed Playing Cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mystery-playing-cards.md) - [Indie Game Playing Cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balatro-playing-card-deck.md) - [Exclusive Card Game Decks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uno-x-kartell-deck.md) - [Reimagined Playing Card Decks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uno-wild-twists.md) - [Celebrity Vibrant Card Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/billie-eilish-uno-deck.md) - [Structure Building Cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-of-cards-building-kit.md) - [Limited-Edition Playing Cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/limited-edition-playing-cards.md) - [Customizable Trading Card Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trading-card-holders.md) - [Aesthetically Pleasing CD Players](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-cd-player.md)
