# Minimalist Outdoor Showers This Modern Outdoor Shower is a Luxurious Addition to Poolsides By Mishal Omar | Published 2016-07-12 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-outdoor-shower References: [architizer](http://architizer.com/products/garden-shower/) & [roshults.se](http://roshults.se/en/products/garden-shower-2) For people looking to decorate their patios, terraces and pools -- these modern outdoor showers are an excellent choice. Designed by lifestyle brand 'Röshults,' these showers have a minimalist rectangular shape and sit on a small square platform. Rather than featuring a [traditional shower head](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/showerclear), the 'Garden Shower' instead allows water to fall from the top of the structure as a "line" -- giving off the same effect as rain. The structure is made from an easy-to-clean stainless steel while its base is made from [teak wood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jonas-sauna) -- a low-maintenance but luxurious timber. While this modern outdoor shower may not be extremely powerful, it is perfect for post-swimming rinses or as a relaxing accessory that allows users to enjoy their surroundings. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 73% | Activity: 48% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Minimalist Outdoor Showers:** Minimalist outdoor showers are the next big thing in outdoor living and have a lot of potential for innovative designs. - **Luxury Outdoor Living Spaces:** Designing luxury outdoor living spaces with minimalist outdoor showers can provide an upscale experience to homeowners and can disrupt conventional outdoor living industry. - **Sustainable Outdoor Showers:** Creating sustainable outdoor showers with eco-friendly materials and low water usage can revolutionize the outdoor living industry. ### Where This Applies - **Home Improvement:** Home Improvement industry can tap into the trend of minimalist outdoor showers for home designing. - **Interior Decoration:** Interior decoration industry can enhance their projects by adding luxurious outdoor spaces equipped with minimalist outdoor showers. - **Hospitality Industry:** Hospitality industry can attract upscale clients by providing luxury outdoor showering facilities, which can be a disruptive innovation. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Nature-Inspired Artful Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-bathing-collection.md) - [Sharp Ultra-Slender Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antoniolupi-tubo.md) - [Modular Shower Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zucchetti-bar-59-shower.md) - [Spa-Inspired Outdoor Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/redwood-outdoors.md) - [Minimalist Outdoor Swings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outdoor-swing.md) - [Demure Hand Shower Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bell-jar-shower-head.md) - [Modern Square-Shaped Showerhead Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/showerhead-designs.md) - [Accessible Shower Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/accessible-showers.md) - [Asymmetrical Ultra-Compact Pools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/faraway-pool.md)
