With its wooden exterior walls shaped like cinema ticket stubs, the cinema is almost magical when lit up at night. The 850 seat [art house cinema](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-court-theatre) was designed by Parisian architects [Encore Heureux](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mayland-guest-lounge) and has a classic charm and sense of simplistic chic. With its modern design, this is a building that will age well with its surroundings and locality. The 'Cine 32' screening rooms feature herringbone shaped woodern exteriors, with hand-painted numbers and a brightly colored sign that pops out against the night sky. This architecture is an example of a public amenity that adds to the surrounding community. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 43% | Activity: 1% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Ticket Stub-shaped Architecture:** There is an opportunity for architects to create unique designs that add to the surrounding community and provide a visually striking, yet functional public amenity. - **Hand-crafted Design Elements:** There is an opportunity for artists and designers to utilize handmade elements in architecture, such as hand-painted numbers on wood panels, to create a personalized and artistic touch. - **Contemporary Classicism:** There is an opportunity to combine traditional and classic design elements with modern technology and aesthetics to create buildings that age well and have a timeless quality. ### Who This Affects Most - **Architecture and Design:** These trends provide opportunities for architects and designers to create unique and visually striking buildings that provide functional public amenities. - **Film and Entertainment:** The 'Cine 32' cinema is an example of how architecture can enhance the moviegoing experience, and provides opportunities for innovation in cinema design. - **Tourism and Hospitality:** Unique and visually striking architecture, such as the 'Cine 32' cinema, can attract tourists and enhance the hospitality industry by providing memorable and aesthetically pleasing experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Landscape Seating Theater Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cinema-visiona.md) - [Cinema-Converted Cultural Centres](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tselinny-center-of-contemporary-culture.md) - [Art Deco-Themed Film Headquarters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sandbox-film.md) - [Cinematically Designed Restaurants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/daphne-restaurant.md) - [Art Deco Theater Pop-Ups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/theater-pop-up.md) - [Mass-Timber Lakeside Theaters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/theater-of-the-arts.md) - [Cinema Screen Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cinema-screen-lamp.md) - [Stars-Inspired Elliptical Planetariums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/planetarium-design.md) - [Stone-Clad Commercial Blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/local-architecture-network.md)
