Launched in Soho/New York City at the Delicatessen back in June ‘09, The Model Lounge has made its way to Miami. Reserved for fashion models only, The Model Lounge serves as a retreat for [female models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loro-pianas) to chill between castings, relax, grab a bite and receive free swag.

The Model Lounges are sponsored by companies who provide all access privilege cards for “qualified” patrons. You must actually be a model, can’t just look like one. Miami’s Model Lounge is sponsored by [REEF](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reef) and housed at the [Delano Hotel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pelican-hotel-1).

Sigh…yet another reason to hate models, right? Now, now, you can always book a room at the hotel and mingle on the outskirts around the beautiful people.
