# Picture-Holding Webs This Mobile Spider Frame is Perfect for Hanging Your Favorite Memories By Nicole Ballantyne-Choo | Published 2013-09-06 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mobile-spider-frame References: [urbanoutfitters](http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=16375685&parentid=GIFT_HOME) & [urbanoutfitters](http://www.urbanoutfitters.com) The mobile spider frame is perfect for people who are looking for a new way to hang up their favorite memories. This [picture holder](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/instantphoto) has taken the idea of baby mobiles hanging over a crib and made it acceptable for adults to use as well. Just like a spider, this device has multiple legs -- specifically 16 -- so you can hang a lot of photos. Each leg has a clip on the end to easily hold onto the pictures. What's great about this is it's a creative change from just having a [bunch of frames](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reflection-frame) taking up counter space or filling up walls. Because of the [clips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/note-clip), it's extremely easy to change the pictures whenever you want! Whether you hang this over your bed or a bunch around your room, you'll always see be looking at different pictures each time. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.6/10 - Popularity: 5% | Activity: 4% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Mobile Hanging Displays:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: creating a line of versatile and customizable mobile hanging displays for showcasing photos and artwork. - **Alternative Picture Frames:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: developing alternative picture frames that allow for creative and unique ways to display photos, such as the mobile spider frame. - **Modular Display Solutions:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: creating modular display solutions that can be easily assembled, disassembled, and customized to fit any space or occasion. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: creating unique and functional home decor products, such as mobile hanging displays, that offer customers creative ways to decorate their homes. - **Art and Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: developing alternative picture frames and display solutions that cater to the needs of artists and photographers, allowing them to showcase their work in unique and creative ways. - **Event Planning:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: offering modular display solutions that can be easily customized to fit any event, such as weddings or trade shows, and provide a unique and eye-catching way to showcase products or services. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sculptural Scrolling Photo Frames](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flash-back-device-concept.md) - [App-Connected Photo Frames](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wifi-digital-picture-frame.md) - [Miniature Photo Display Screens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/autoheart-picpak-digital-frame.md) - [Customizable Gallery Wall Frames](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/exhibit-wall-picture-frames.md) - [Decorative Data-Rich Smart Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-digital-frame.md) - [Artsy Hanging Plants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-air-plant-mobile.md) - [Projected Photo Canvas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pixybeam.md) - [Adjustable Clip Smartphone Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phoneclip.md) - [Multi-Functional Smartphone Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meboge.md)
