Cats, or even [small dogs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jingcyuan-tang), can tag along inside the “Cocoon” [pet carrier](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crispin-pet-travel-crate) without any risk of them jumping out. Just strap it on your handlebars and away you go! It makes taking the pet to the local veterinarian’s clinic a cinch! It might take a while for the animals to get used to the motion and the traffic noises. Some may never like it, so the carrier can still be used as an ordinary carrier. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 12% | Activity: 17% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Safe Pet Transportation:** The Cocoon pet carrier allows for safe and secure transportation of pets while biking, opening up opportunities for pet owners to incorporate their animals into their exercise routines. - **Convenient Vet Visits:** The Cocoon pet carrier makes going to the veterinarian easier and more convenient, eliminating the need for a separate pet carrier or mode of transportation. - **Pet-friendly Commuting:** The Cocoon pet carrier enables pet owners to bring their cats or small dogs along for their daily commutes, promoting a pet-friendly lifestyle in urban areas. ### Who This Affects Most - **Pet Accessories:** The pet accessories industry can explore innovative designs and features for pet carriers that prioritize safety and comfort during transportation. - **Exercise Equipment:** The exercise equipment industry can cater to pet owners by developing specialized bike attachments or carriers that allow for safe pet transportation during workouts. - **Veterinary Services:** Veterinary clinics can consider incorporating pet transportation services using innovative carriers like the Cocoon, making vet visits more convenient for pet owners. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Stool-Equipped Pet Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/guacal-pet-carrier.md) - [Dual-Purpose Pet Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/burrow-pet-carrier.md) - [Airline-Safe Cat Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/porto-cat-carrier.md) - [Small Pet Carrier Enclosures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fenced-traveling-backpack.md) - [Pet-Friendly EV Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/renault-pet-communication-device-concept.md) - [Pet-Friendly Scooter Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petro-scooter-concept.md) - [Sustainable Portable Cat Shelters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/batsy-cat-shelter.md) - [Portable Pet Shelter Backpacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/travel-habitat.md) - [Stylish Multi-Functional Pet Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-pet-carrier.md)
