The system is characterized by its comprehensive construction that will open to reveal an [expansive monitor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/base-case) for getting work done on a computer, while the fold-out wings will hold smartphones, sticky notes and more. The unit maintains a relatively sizable construction that will offer a bit of privacy from others in the space when sharing a desk to make it great for offices where team members don't have a set desk or even in coworking spaces. The conceptual 'First Layer' mobile desk divider identifies how the modern professional lifestyle is adapting as we shift towards a post-pandemic world. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.4/10 - Popularity: 95% | Activity: 82% | Freshness: 15% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Mobile Workstations:** The rise of mobile workstations creates opportunities for compact, portable and ergonomic workstations for professionals working remotely or in shared work environments. - **All-in-one Workstation:** There is a growing demand for all-in-one workstation solutions that can consolidate all necessary equipment and improve productivity, especially for professionals who work remotely. - **Privacy Dividers:** Privacy dividers are becoming increasingly important for professionals working in shared workspaces, and there is an opportunity to develop innovative and portable solutions that provide privacy and functionality. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Office Furniture:** The office furniture industry has an opportunity to provide more flexible and compact workstation solutions for professionals working remotely or in shared workspaces. - **Technology:** The technology industry can develop more integrated and portable solutions for professionals working remotely or in shared workspaces, such as the all-in-one mobile desk divider. - **Coworking Spaces:** Coworking spaces can integrate more privacy dividers and mobile workstations to improve productivity and accommodate the changing needs of professionals in a post-pandemic world. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Laptop-Stowing Portable Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lapcase.md) - [Portable Personal Office Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beblau-vertical-office.md) - [Detachable Wall-Mounted Standing Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mobile-desk-system.md) - [Portable Desktop Workstation Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neo-box.md) - [Adaptable Mobile Professional Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airy-office-desk.md) - [All-in-One Laptop Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/logitech-casa-popup-desk.md) - [Scooter-Like Portable Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-work-station.md) - [Modular Work Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mespace-workstation.md) - [Folding Multifunctional Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ignite-desk.md)
