Graphic designer and illustrator Jorge Vargas created a series of mixed video games that introduces iconic characters from other games and TV series to world of [Nintendo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oreo-x-super-mario). For his series of 'Video Game Mash-Ups,' Pikachu tries on Megaman's suit and an angry glare, Princess Peach plays Sakura in Street Fighter and Toad turns to the dark side as one of the fire-spitting Piranha Plants from Super Mario Bros.

Sometimes characters from different games do get to mingle with one another, like [Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/overwatch-2-street-fighter), but they rarely get to switch up their trademark outfits, let alone swap clothes. The series is gorgeously drawn and it serves as a pretty good representation of what it might be like if these characters went to a big video game convention themselves.
