Mitral Transmission is an interesting project. Artists often say that their music is near and dear to their heart, but this album may be the closest to one's heart -- literally. Greg [Fox](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fox-one) is using his heartbeat to make up the background music for his new album.

An album is a very personal experience, but many albums could always stand to be a bit more personal. Mitral Transmission sees Fox attaching himself to a computer with custom software that turned his heartbeat into a usable beat.

In addition to his album, the songs will be transformed into [an exhibit](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sound-maestro) that will allow users to do the same thing Fox did, creating their own music using the beat of their hearts.
