The white, [minimalist home](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vaulted-monochrome-haus) is a series of stacked rectangles and [glass-paneled walls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tranquil-abiding) that look out on the green pastures below. To ensure the residents a little privacy, the Mit Atelier House has yards upon yards of [white curtains](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nyori) that be drawn over the house's expansive windows. The drapery, however, is located on the outside of the home, acting almost like a skirt. The Mit Atelier house is located in Waldstetten-Wißgoldingen, Germany. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 52% | Activity: 40% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Drapery-clad Homes:** Incorporating functional and aesthetically-pleasing curtains into architectural plans for homes and buildings. - **Minimalist Architecture:** Designing homes and buildings using simple and minimalistic shapes and colors. - **Natural Viewpoints:** Utilizing scenic views of surrounding nature as a central focus in architectural designs. ### Who This Affects Most - **Architecture:** Innovating building designs to incorporate unique and practical features that complement surrounding environments. - **Interior Design:** Developing custom curtains and drapery solutions that blend seamlessly with modern aesthetic designs. - **Real Estate Development:** Creating residential and commercial developments that prioritize natural surroundings and interior design functionality. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Privacy Enhanced Minimal Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-open-house-1.md) - [Monolithic Sleek Summer Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vollerup-atrium.md) - [Refined Modern Dwellings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/silver-house.md) - [Serene Heartwarming Villa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-minimale.md) - [Contemporary Countryside Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contemporary-countryside-home.md) - [Minimal Japanese Home Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-in-kyobate.md) - [Compact White-Painted Modern Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whitepainted-modern-home.md) - [Pavilion-Style Art Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/galeria-house.md) - [Lofty Minimalist Living Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-living-space1.md)
